RECOVERS STOLEN GUITAR
Here the story according to Modern
Soul Records...
Kelly Hoppe of Train 45 had his Gibson guitar stolen in April from
a show he played at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. This
past month, Kelly received a call from a gentleman living in Newfoundland
who bought
the guitar for his son from a kid in Brantford near a music store
there. The gentleman's girlfriend had seen a video spot that was
aired on Toronto's CITY TV with a clip about the missing guitar
and spoke to her boyfriend, saying that the guitar on TV looked
a lot like the one he had just bought. The very honest boyfriend
got in touch with the station and got Kelly's contacts so that he
could then get him back the guitar. Since the honest gentleman's
son would no longer have a guitar, and he was out $1,000 for
buying the hot guitar, Kelly offered them the new guitar he bought
to replace his stolen one.
