Bobbie, Like you, I was never told that the tips no longer go to Dinners Unlimited and as for previous years I'm a little hazy but seem to remember someone whispering in my ear that they were being split half and half. Of course the customers were not being told that little bit of information and I doubt many of the volunteers were being made aware. Still quite a scam if you ask me.... I think it's pathetic actually...I would rather not have a volunteer party at all if this is the way we're getting it!!
Everywhere in the news we are being told to be careful where we put our charity money because there are so many people trying to scam what little we have. To find out that we, the volunteers, were the scammers in this case does not sit well. I just have this feeling that I was a little taken back by the idea even then and to now find out that ALL are being used is just not right.....
Anyway...that's what I remember about the situation.

Hi Bobbie, I love your writing it actually gets me to read more.
It's short and interesting. The photography is great, too. You never know,
it might inspire me to write!!

Hi Bobbie! I really enjoyed this issue. The article
on creativity touched a sensitive cord since I was one of these creative
and frustrated kids. Merry Christmas if we don't have a chance to talk
until then.
